Panasonic DVD burner to work with all Notebooks and Netbooks. This includes all PC/MAC units Notebook or Desktop. Please note that the built item consists of 2 parts. 1 is the Brand New Panasonic UJ-816-C. The second is the external cases which is a CIC EX-BLK-01. Installation is a breeze simply Plug in the item into your USB port and the unit is ready to use in a few seconds. No driver installation Required. We do not include any burning or playback software. Even though your computer may already include this, it is the responsibility of the Buyer to make sure they have this software installed

For installation. Just plug in the USB data Cable and the drive will do the rest. No driver disk needed for installation. Drivers in Windows XP, Vista and 7 are part of the OS. The drive requires only 1 usb cable to operate. We however, include a second cable in the case your system cannot power it with just 1 cable or when you require extra power for Dual Layer or Burning.
